In my position as Mayor, I am working with the Council and the Bluff Volunteer Fire Department to schedule a meeting with the parties involved in yesterday’s fire on Cemetery Hill. I am trying to organize a virtual meeting for Monday or Tuesday of the coming week so that all parties can heard. In the interim, if you have been adversely affected by the fire, please contact either me or another Council member. And a reminder: there is a ban on burning. Abide by it.

Status of COVID-19 Positive Cases and Risk Level There was an announcement today in the Governor’s Press Conference that Bluff and Mexican Hat will move from “Orange” to “Yellow” risk status “within the next 24 hours.” Please review the Guidelines that are posted on the utah.gov website if you have any questions as to what “Yellow” entails. Update from the Town Council – Spike in Number of Covid Cases

Updates from the Bluff Town Council:  The number of positive cases for COVID-19 in San Juan County went from 47 yesterday to 78 today. Hospitalizations in San Juan County went from 7 yesterday to 10 today.  Recent numbers of increased testing in San Juan County designated sites might explain the spike but COVID-19 is real.
