EMT Class for Residents of Bluff & the Surrounding Area – EMTs NEEDED!

A Hybrid EMT course is being offered through Kane County and is open to the residents of Bluff and the surrounding community members. The 12 Week course will begin September 28 and will end December 21, 2022. Lectures will be held via Zoom and the in person skills classes will be in Blanding or Bluff (TBD).

Cost is approximately $708. Through the Bluff Fort Fire/EMT Fundraiser, these costs could be fully covered for interested participants. Please contact the town at office@townofbluff.org or Dawn at dawn.dilego@gmail.com for scholarship information.

Town of Bluff Planning and Zoning Commissioner Vacancy

The Town of Bluff is accepting applications for Planning and Zoning Commissioner positions for the 4-year term of December 2022 through November 2026. Applications are due Friday, September 16, 2022 by 5:00PM. Interviews to take place Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 6:00pm during the P&Z meeting via video conference.

Bluff Community Center Rehabilitation and ADA Improvements Project

The Town of Bluff will begin accepting bids for the Bluff Community Center Rehabilitation and ADA Improvements Project on October 5, 2022. Bids will be accepted through October 28 at 5:00PM.

This project is funded in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Block Grant (CBDG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.


Town Council Meetings are held the first three Tuesdays of every month at 6:00PM unless otherwise posted.
